# Integrations

To build virtual agents on our platform you can utilize the boxes you see on the left side of the page. 

The boxes are called **nodes** and are the building blocks of the conversation. Each of them has its own purpose, and together they create the conversational flow. 

You can click on a box, drag it into the middle of the page, and can edit it accordingly by clicking on it again. It will open up on the right side of the page.

The **Integration nodes** become relevant when you want to connect with a third-party service to send and receive data.

*In order to create a flow, you have to connect the nodes to one another. Please connect them from the exit point of one module to the entry point of another.*
